Curriculum:
Consistent with the Manhattan Youth Ballet’s commitment to the tradition of the European School of Ballet, the summer program is based on a classical syllubis. Also included are classes in contemporary style, as well as core-strengthening through Pilates. Students will be assigned to appropriate levels during the placement class on the first day of the program
The daily schedule consists of 3 classes, with a break for lunch, followed by rehearsal for a culminating performance. Levels are limited to 20 students to assure individual attention. Upper levels are expected to take all classes en pointe.
