Welcome: Dear Students: For more than a decade, the Manhattan Youth Ballet (formerly known as Studio Maestro) has offered young dancers a superlative opportunity to advance their technique and artistry through our Summer Intensive Program. We take great pride in the quality of our teaching and in creating an atmosphere that is at once highly disciplined and focused, and attentive to individual development and aspiration. Our program, grounded in the classical tradition of the European School of Ballet, has become a popular choice for dancers to conclude summer training and to prepare for fall programs of study or performance. In addition, the summer intensive provides an excellent introduction for dancers who are interested in auditioning in September for the Manhattan Youth Ballet graded, pre-professional academy program. MYB alumnae, many of whom returned to our summer program year after year, are now dancing professionally in leading companies. We invite you to participate in a uniquely enriching summer experience.
