ABOUT THE INTENSIVE The Manhattan Youth Ballet Young Dancer Program is held every year beginning in July. Over the course of two weeks, students take daily technique classes from our year-round faculty, which are followed by pre-pointe classes, variations classes, strength and conditioning, Pilates, contemporary, jazz and modern. Our focus is to provide a program that allows those accepted to become further equipped with the necessary skills to advance their technique. Please Note: Supervised housing is NOT provided during the Manhattan Youth Ballet Young Dancer Program. Students have the option of participating in 1 or 2 weeks of the program. Students participating in The Young Dancer Program are invited to participate in a showing during the second week of the program.
