MYB KIDS Summer Program
(July 10th - August 4th, ages 4-7)

We are proud to offer two fantastic summer options for young dancers, ages 4-12.

Students may enroll for one or multiple weeks.

Our youngest dancers (ages 4-7) will explore different types of dance, movement and art in our half-day sessions, set to a different theme each week. Dancers will learn foundational techniques and terminology of ballet and tap through activities, games, music and use of props. Supplemental dance genres such as jazz, hip hop, musical theater, and tumbling may also be introduced.

Themes

Week 1: July 10-14 Fairy Fun

Dancers will take a magical journey through the enchanted forest in search of fairies. Along the way, they will learn ballet, go on quests, create art and may even earn their own fairy wings!

Week 2: July 17-21 Royal Academy

We will learn the ins and outs of what it means to be proper royalty from famous friends such as Aurora, Rapunzel, Tiana, and others! Royal trainees will learn ballet for the ball, etiquette from the Queen, and will make art and fashion with their Fairy Godmother.

Week 3: July 24-28 Enchanted Adventures

We will dance, read and craft our way through a different magical story each day. Students will explore stories such as Alice in Wonderland, Frozen, Peter Pan and many more!

Week 4: July 31-August 4 Ballet Stories

Come explore some of the world's best-loved ballets using movement, art, books, and stories. Students will learn foundational ballet steps while being inspired by the stories and dancing of famous ballets, such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.
